A Simple Guide to Updating Your Address with PIP
If you receive Personal Independence Payment and you are moving home, you need to update your address directly with DWP. This guide explains exactly how, what to have ready, and what happens if you do not.
Once your PIP address is sorted, SlothMove can help with everything else involved in your move. We update HMRC, DVLA, the NHS, your council, and your utility providers in one go.
You must remember to update your Personal Independence Payment (PIP) address when you move home. If your address is incorrect, your payments could be delayed or, worse, missed.
You can only update PIP with a change of address on the phone.
You can contact the PIP helpline using the numbers below:

Textphone: 0800 121 4493
Relay Service (for speech/hearing impairments): 18001 then 0800 121 4433

SlothMove cannot update your PIP address for you. That has to be done directly with DWP by phone, using the number above. What SlothMove can do is take care of everything else: HMRC, DVLA, the NHS, council tax, energy, water, TV Licence, and the electoral roll, all in one
